fitness blog: kettle bells workout with Armand Bautista

I decided to go for my one on one workout with my instructor Armand Bautista, I do my pilates training alternate with cardio workout, but for today my instructor told me to do kettle bells because his kettlebell arrive already! and he is licensed instructor for kettlebell , pilates and TRX strength training.

The best thing is that you won’t put on muscle bulk. Kettlebell training is ideal if you’re after a sleeker and firmer body. Perfect too if you want to drop a few kilograms and start looking healthier, sexier and younger.
  • Tone and strengthen muscles.
  • Lose body fat. One percent per week for many weeks.
  • Reduce tension and stress.
  • Fast results: You are forced to work harder, making kettlebells more effective than traditional methods.
  • Kettlebells train every muscle from every possible angle.
  • You’re left with a toned, firm and beautiful body that is primed for day to day activities and sport.
What makes the Kettlebell unique?

Kettlebells are essentially a cannon ball with a handle attached. The kettlebell is lifted, swung, pressed and pulled in a variety of different ways. It’s important to realise they are not like your standard dumbbells. There is a huge difference between the two and believe me, the difference makes all the difference. You see, the kettlebell is not perfectly symmetrical like a dumbbell. The large mass of the bell and the handle are unique.

It’s this feature that gives them their versatility and impressive results.

When lifting the kettlebell you are forced to work extra hard (especially your core muscles) to keep it balanced and under control. This happens instinctively, so you don’t have to worry about it. Every muscle in your body has to come alive and get to work.

The humble kettlebell gives you functional strength not bulky or superficial muscles.

Certification for Kettlebell...
kettlebells 8 kilos,16 kilos , 23 kilos
This is how we hold or grip the handle of the kettlebells
he asked me to do deadlift...using the 16 kilos..
then kettlebell swing
kettlebell swing alternating hand

this is for the abs....from chest part to the back...
side bend for the obliques....
overall after my workout I did my whole body stretch in the pilates machine. what a relief... it was a good overall whole body workout!! Love it.. Ill schedule my next visit!!

Looking for a good japanese resto

Restaurant Blog: Tsumura Sushi Bar and Restaurant

Yes, another Japanese Sushi Bar, but several reasons to come back for it. Our visit in Tsumura was a surprise! We just went to Makati need to purchase something, then I told my husband lets have lunch at Tsumura Sushi Bar! Then he said fine, just make sure that its worth visiting! So I told him yeah its worth trying , and so we did.

So looking at the menu they have several several choices! but we asked the waiter to recommend their chef recommendations , so here we go.

Signage going to second floor...*

The cover of the menu , the menu is very basic nothing fancy, just like an art paper with a bond paper with japanese words written on it.*
table set up, simple nothing so elegant.....japanese feel...
our orders: MAGURO SASHIMI- i love this! they have seaweeds on the side and also the slice of the maguro very thick!! really thick , its like a slice is equivalent to 3 thin slices in other japanese Restaurant.
one of their house specialty : CHIKUWA CHIZ AGE -it fried and melted cheese inside...
Tofu steak teppenyaki: i love the straw mushroom they mixed in the sauce, i hate it when they use ground meat..
Our favorite of all: Mixed seafood teppanyaki@ oh i just love the serving the presentation and the taste!
Look just how big the scallops and the prawns!!
and i just add a yasai soup and also Tamago *
Overall food was so perect and really good! parking is just across the street. Though its in Makati , i just cant tell during weekdays how does traffic and parking availability.
We assure them that we will go back and visit and bring some friends!!

Im glad that my hubby liked their food!! yehey! *

So on our way home stocked on traffic jam! we just watch Kung Fu Panda in the car.. on the way home.*

Last night another pairs of shoes arrived, brought by our ninong from San Francisco. Again and again! same tone same words. shoes again? haay.... well my husbands old same reason " matagal na yan" . but I always check out his shoes! because I love the colors and the designs too!

I wonder when he will stop? I also love shoes but not as much as he does! when our house is almost done , he never ceases to look for a nice shoe cabinet along the hallway, which i did agree coz that the perfect spot he can position his shoes, our walk in cabinet is not enough but there's still area for his shoes though, he keeps his favorite shoes there.

Jek's reason of buying new shoes:
